A great chance to come and enjoy helping out for the benefit of nature at Boundary Brook, learn about ecology and enjoy being physically outside in a peaceful inspiring wild place. We have a whole range of conservation tasks to do including weaving dead hedges, protecting coppice stools, removing invasive perennials from the grassland and glades using lazy dogs and forks to dig up bramble roots, dragging felled wood into habitat piles and clearing grassy areas.  As ever, guidance and training are on hand and you’re welcome to stay for as long or as short a time as you like.  All help is greatly appreciated. Bring a hot flask and snack.
PLEASE NOTE All events are subject to any covid guidance in place at the time.  We plan to carry out these vital tasks in January and February and hope that outdoor conservation work will go ahead.  We may need to limit numbers to plan accordingly, or in the event of postponing events, so please let us know if you are coming.  Email info@ouwg.org.uk
