Have you ever heard plant music?

Come along to our free workshop where we will experiment with a sonic bio-data device called Plantwave. This new technology gives plants a kind of ‘voice’ by magnifying their activity into music.

We will listen to the plants and discuss how we ‘hear’ nature, asking what this means for human-plant relationships. We will touch on inter-species care, power dynamics, and how attention, or the ‘art of noticing’, changes with sound. This workshop is designed for adults but all ages are welcome.

Original project funded by the Wellcome Trust and Oxford Ethics and Humanities.
