Come and join our volunteer work parties.  Every Thursday morning 10.30am to 1pm.

Our volunteer work parties are a chance to join in ongoing habitat restoration projects and learn about the Nature Reserve. Our volunteers always say they enjoy taking care of the site and contributing to the beauty of this wildlife oasis in the city and meeting new people living nearby.

Having planted over 1000 wild garlic bulbs and 200 trees over the last month with help from a range of members planting in household bubbles or socially distanced pairs, we have now started to run small socially distanced work parties following Covid-19 guidance.

Over April and May we will be creating fully accessible paths all around the site and also preparing the ground and sowing our new cornfield and grassland areas.

Please come along and help out with whatever time you have. Please email us to let us know if you are coming so we can plan for numbers: info@ouwg.org.uk
